![]() To help the struggling people in their plight. Your mission is to explore the wild and wondrous world of the Soviet Wastes. You are one of the survivors, a member of a government organization that was created before the war, to secure the knowledge and the technologies of the past. 20 years have passed since that terrible war, and struggling societies of survivors once again emerged from the radioactive dust in a vast and unruly place now known only as The Soviet Wasteland. One of those games was a maxed out luck run (by the end anyway), so I would have expected to see it in that run.In 1986 both the Soviet Union and the Western Bloc were destroyed in mutual nuclear bombings. That and after playing through the entire game three (or four?) (completing as much stuff as possible each time), I STILL haven't managed to find the gun that fires the really high-calibre bullets that I seem to keep collecting! I doubt it'd be better than some of the other awesome guns I already have (or at least, not better enough to make a huge difference), but I still want to see it. Well by that stage of the game I couldn't really care about experience any more, since last time I was there I'd completed most quests by then.īUT I'm definitely interested in that weapon now. Since you started and quit you already got the number of points corresponding to the number of shadows you already killed but it could be interesting for you to get the rest of them. I got 2433 points for killing all the shadows in one time. Ladyonthemoon: I'm not sure how long it took, an hour maybe? An hour and a half? In both game time and real life time since the timescale is fixed to 1 when you are inside a location, whatever the location.Īnd yes, there is very interesting loot, a gun that exists in only one copy in the whole game, but you have to get rid of all the shadows in order to get to it.
